Summary: The Truck Driver should be well-organized and require
hauling various materials, including liquid asphalt cement (A/C),
emulsion, cutback, calcium chloride, and Ballast-Star in a safe and
responsible manner. This position will require the driver to be
able to operate numerous types of vehicles and equipment
occasionally including class B vehicles as well. Essential
Functions: 1. Safety always wins. Safely transport and deliver
materials to designated locations, adhering to all DOT regulations
and company policies. 2. Protect family and friends. Operate Class
A vehicles with tanker endorsements; ability to handle hazardous
materials preferred. 3. Committed to serve. Load and unload
materials, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. 4.
Ownership and caring. Perform routine vehicle inspections and
maintenance checks to ensure road readiness. 5. Measurement.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
6. Respect and engage. Communicate effectively with dispatch and
customers to ensure timely deliveries. 7. Adhere to all safety
protocols and participate in safety training programs.
Requirements, Education and Experience: 1. Valid Class A Commercial
Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record with tanker
endorsement required; Hazmat endorsement preferred. 2. Minimum of 2
years of experience operating Class A vehicles, preferably in the
construction or paving industry. Ability to operate lowbed and
Class B vehicles as needed. 3. Knowledge of asphalt materials and
paving operations is highly desirable. 4. Knowledge of DOT
regulations and safety compliance. 5. Ability to effectively
communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors. 6.
Excellent time management, strong attention to detail and
commitment to safety. 7. Willingness to work flexible hours,
including weekends or overtime as needed. 8. Willingness to undergo
drug screenings and background checks as required. 9. Authorized to

require up to 100% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughout
the state of New York, and New England based on the needs of the
business. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Heavy work that
includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works
on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the
ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as
lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking,
reaching, driving, and repetitive motion. On occasion the job will
require going out in the field and various plants and quarries.
