Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system combining a

seeking a Clinical Nurse III to join our General Medical/Surgical
Unit. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional care to
patients and supporting the mission of Albany Medical Center to
advance health through teaching, research, and patient care.
Working within our E3/C3E General Med/Surg unit, you will play a
critical role in managing patient recovery, partnering with a
multidisciplinary team to implement patient-specific care plans,
and participating in educational programs to maintain the high
standards of nursing practice at our facility. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to patients Participate in the
development and implementation of patient care plans Collaborate
with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient
outcomes Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and administer medications safely
Educate patients and their families on disease management and
prevention Support the training of nursing staff and students
Strong clinical skills in a general medical/surgical setting
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using
healthcare technology and patient management software Adaptability
to quickly changing environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current registered nurse licensure
in the state of New York Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
