Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist who will use
our pioneering facilities and technology to perform qualitative and
quantitative mass spectrometry experiments focusing on autoimmune,
infectious disease, and oncology targets for novel
Immunotherapeutics such as bispecific antibodies, cell therapies,
and vaccine approaches. You will be to apply the latest mass
spectrometry techniques for the discovery and validation of novel
disease specific antigens from human tissues and cell lines as well
as to develop innovative techniques and investigate innovative
technologies to enhance our target discovery efforts. As a Senior
Scientist, a typical day might include: Running mass
spectrometry-derived data analysis (total proteomics, cell surface
proteomics, immunopeptidomics) Carrying out method development and
optimization, including automation of current technologies
Preparing MS samples from a variety of normal, diseased and tumor
samples, including sample pre-fractionation and proteolytic
digestion Conducting affinity purification of endogenous
proteins/peptides from a variety of samples (i.e., patient tissue
biopsies, animal specimens, and cultured cells) Working closely
within and across scientific fields to design and perform analyses
Presenting data packages and conclusions to internal and external
collaborators; preparing results for presentation at conferences

evolving environment In order to be considered for this role , you
must have at least a Ph.D in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology,
or related field with 0-3 years of relevant experience or a BS/MS
with 8-10 years. Skill in the operation of an HPLC and mass
spectrometer (LC-MS) is required. Experience with various mass
spectrometry instrumentation such as Thermo Orbitrap series and
Bruker Ultra series is strongly preferred. Knowledge in
autoimmunity and immunology desirable. Experience with sample
preparation for immunoprecipitation for MS analysis is required.
Data analysis of raw MS data analysis using Xcalibur, PEAKS,
Spectronaut, FragPipe, Skyline and general DB search engine tools
preferred. Prior Immunopeptidomics experience is a plus. Expertise
in large-scale data analysis of NGS (Whole Exome sequencing,
RNA-seq, RiboSeq and MS proteomics) is a plus. Does this sound like
