Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.As a Sales Specialist, you will be accountable for sales of Force Measurement, Process Automation Measurement & Analytics (PAMA), driving sales volumes and margins. You will also be accountable for sales of ABB's Force Measurements (FM) product portfolio that consists of tension systems for pulp and paper industry, rolling mill force sensors, industrial weighing systems for melt shops, mining and miscellaneous industrial applications, driving sales volumes and margins.In this role you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.This position reports toSales ManagerYour responsibilities

  • Develop and increase sales of Force Measurement in assigned territories
  • Collaborate with engineering team to develop customized solutions for FM products
  • Travel 50 to 70% in assigned territory for customer visits and presentations
  • Collaborating with other departments to prepare bids, gather technical specifications and financial accuracy
  • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
  • Understanding the customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions
  • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activitiesYour background
    • Bachelor's or Associates in Electrical, Mechanical or job experience equivalent and minimum 2 years of experience in sales, sales support, maintenance or operations
    • Knowledge or understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment. A plus would be automation or process control understanding in either the Paper or Metals market
    • The proven ability to develop and manage customer accounts
    • A team focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
