Our team is highly experienced in the optimization and development
of airfield and airspace systems when:

The airfield/airspace team often utilizes fast-time simulations for
demand and capacity analyses, alternatives evaluations,
benefit-cost analyses, and construction
programming.Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead and conduct planning studies and analyze airport
facilities and operations
- Simulate airfield and airspace operations including runways,
taxiways, and gates using TAAM software
- Analyze simulation modeling input and output data sets
- Analyze flight schedules, study airport fleet mixes, and
optimize aircraft gate management systems
- Participate in data collection and survey assignments
- Coordinate and write task analysis results and reports
- Assist in preparing project work scopes and schedules
- Engage client staff, attend client meetings/presentations, and
establish positive relationships
- Train junior staff in simulation modeling tools and
techniquesQualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in airfield/airspace planning and
simulation, with extensive experience using TAAM software and/or
AirTop experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills using tools such as Excel, Tableau,
etc.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, and/or GIS preferred
- Knowledge of programming (Python, R, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge and interest in the aviation industry and airport
operations
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, planning,
aviation, business, operations research, or related fields is an
assetLocation
- Preferably based in one of our offices in New York, Chicago,
San Francisco, or Cincinnati. Remote work from home is also an
option for the right candidate.Travel Expectations
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the year to airport clients and
L&B's U.S. and overseas officesAdditional InformationLandrum &
Brown is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we
have provided the base compensation range of$117,000 - $175,000
annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each
candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and
