The Role:As Trading Analyst you will work alongside a quantitatively driven trading desk - collaborating with traders, quants, and engineers. You will help optimize execution, build analytics, and generate market insights. You'll engineer tools to monitor performance, assess risk, and flag anomalies - ensuring efficient operations and informed decision making in our high performance environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Execution Optimization: Streamline and automate trade execution workflows to maintain reliability and speed.
  • Analytics & Tool Development: Build robust Python and Excel tools for real-time performance monitoring and P&L attribution.
  • Market Insights & Data Analysis: Mine trade and market data to identify trends, anomalies, and new strategy opportunities.
  • Risk Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee daily P&L and exposure metrics, perform attribution and scenario analyses, and escalate issues proactively.
  • Process Documentation & Improvement: Author SOPs and partner with engineers to deploy system enhancements that boost desk efficiency.
    You Bring:
    • Education: BA/BS in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related technical field.
    • Skills: Python fluency and experience developing tools for scalable analytics.
    • Experience: 1-3 years in trading operations, quantitative analysis, or financial markets support roles.
    • Professional Acumen: proficiency with risk and P&L, including but not limited to P&L attribution, risk metrics, derivatives pricing, and market microstructure.
    • Behavioral: excellent interpersonal skills to translate technical insights for traders, quants, and developers, high-performance mindset with bias for action, ownership mentality, and ability to thrive under pressure in a meritocratic environment.
      Extra Credit:
      • Experience with SQL, Bloomberg, or other market-data terminals.
      • Familiarity with C++, Java, or other programming languages.
      • Prior internship or project experience in a trading firm.
      • Understanding of derivatives and market microstructure.
