Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per yearA bit about us:WE are an established Strong company in the Milton NY area in the MFG/Dist industryWhy join us?As the "hands on" maintenance manager you will be responsible for being on the floor with the maintenance team ensuring that the production lines are running at peak efficiency and that the any general maintenance and repairs are identified and repaired in a timely fashion.The maintenance team consists of 10-12 maintenance staff on a 2-shift rotation. This role reports into our Maintenance Manager, who works on the day shift.The expectation for this role is Monday through Friday and Saturday as needed. Shift is 5:00PM-3:30AM (end of production).Job DetailsDaily Responsibilities Include:-- Assess any problems with the equipment, identify root cause, make the necessary repairs, and complete associated documentation.-- Coordinate activities, as well as oversee the work of maintenance personnel.

• Create accountability and structure within the maintenance department through work orders and follow through.-- Responsible for establishing and maintaining necessary procedures required to perform routine preventive maintenance.-- Identify critical spare parts needed (and then maintaining those inventories to minimize equipment down time and maximize production efficiencies).-- Responsible for general building maintenance (production facility + finished goods warehouse).-- Perform all activities in compliance with company GMP and safety policies, procedures, and practices.-- Adhere to applicable building, county, and safety codes/standards, while running an accident-free operation-- Effectively communicate with Managers, Supervisors, peers, and subordinates.-- Notify management if specifications cannot be met and/or quality or safety is being compromised.-- Review, document work completed by employees.-- Knowledge of OSHA principles for safety in a manufacturing environment.-- Ensure that all safety equipment is functional and that all employees practice proper safety and follow safety procedures.-- Work on other projects as requested by management.Experience and Qualifications:-- Minimum 3 years direct experience as Maintenance supervisor.-- Experience in high-speed bottling required.-- Hands on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to work closely with production managers and supervisors.-- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems-- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-- Excellent leadership and management skillsInterested in hearing more?
