is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next Support
Material Group Role to join our team in our Danbury, CT 06810 location. Who We

the Role:This is a
support position that helps the Materials Team in all aspects of supply chain
activities. This includes Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control and
Purchasing/Planning.What you
will do:Core
duties and responsibilities including the following. Backed up
shipping clerk, shipping within the US, Canada, Mexico and Worldwide.Help
resolve shipping issues that may arise between the customer and the shipping
companies.Utilize
lean manufacturing to continuously streamline shipping.Assist in
training packing personnel in correct, safe procedures.Help
process outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging,
delivering, packing, and shipping.Ensure each
shipment has been audited prior to shipping.Prepare
all shipping documentation; maintain orderly files for all documentation.Performs
required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and
correspondence.Assists
with Inventory control and tracking physical inventory.Participates
in inventory process and audits; helps research and resolve inventory
discrepancies.Receive
all incoming packages and materials. Verify packing list and quantities. Material
handling, stocking inventory locations with raw materials. Performs
cycle counting.Support
Purchasing/Planning with issuing PO's, MRP and any other related activities.Assist
with ISO Quality functions that include MRB, Quality audits, CARs, SCARs, and
other related activities. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.Our
Perfect CandidateEducation and Experience:High
school diploma or general education degree (GED).3
to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.Must
be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a
variety of staff.Must
be meticulous and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable
deadlines.Must
be able to work as a team and productively with minimum supervision.Must
demonstrate the ability to take on new tasks and learn new equipment and techniques.Required Abilities and Skills:Familiarity with
shipping practices and handling methods.Ability to work with
minimal supervision.Commitment to
excellence and high standards.Excellent written and
oral communication skills.Strong organizational,
problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to manage
priorities and workflow.Versatility,
flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
with enthusiasm.Acute attention to
detail.Knowledge of Macola
EM10 and various 3rd party shipping programs.Proven ability to manage
multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong people skills.Ability to work independently
following procedures and verbal input.Ability to observe all
safety protocols and always use equipment properly.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Continually required to stand, walk, bend and
stoop.Frequently required to utilize hand and finger
dexterity.Frequently required to talk or hear.Continually required to carry/lift/move/push
items up to 50 pounds.Frequently required to use pneumatic sanders
and rivet guns, cordless drivers, and hand tools.Continually required to use automated seam
welder, spot welder and rolling equipment.Company
Offers: Beginning hourly rate is $22 depending on with
experience and education.Monday thru Friday schedule, 8am to 4:30pm -
