Job Summary: The IT Help Desk position offers support and technical assistance to customers who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers. Position DescriptionEssential Functions: 1.Respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely manner to resolve technical hardware and/or software issues for customers via phone, email, and computer chat through effective trouble shooting and diagnosis2.Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues3.Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty4.Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software5.Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and document customer interactions6.Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting Position RequirementsRequirements, Education and Experience:1.Four-year IT-related degree2.Windows OS and MS Office products, Office 365 Applications, and related technologies3.Exceptional Customer Service Approach4. Proficiency with Apple Computers & Apple / Android mobile devices, a strong plus5.Proficient written and verbal English communication skills6.Legal right to work in the U. S.
