Position: Seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/ Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry (PMHNP/NPP) to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health Team in the Hudson Valley.Reports To: Medical Director, Associate Medical DirectorStatus: Full-Time, Exempt, PermanentSchedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:30am-6:30pm, with one late day 10am-7pm, 40 hours per weekHybrid: 2-3 days on-site, remainder of the week remote telehealthSalary: $150,000 - $175,000 annuallySalaries are based on education, experience, licensure, and board certification.Sign-on bonus available.Position Overview:The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/ Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry (PMHNP/NPP) will provide psychiatric care to clients in a community mental health setting.The Nurse Practitioner functions with wide latitude to exercise independent professional judgment.Nurse Practitioner's act as resources of information for other employees of the agency.Clinical supervision is received from the Medical Director while administrative supervision is received from the Center Director.Position Qualifications:Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/ Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry (PMHNP/NPP) by the New York State Education Department required.Master's degree nursing with psychiatric profession required.Must be board certified.3+ years' experience preferred.Currently credentialed with Medicare and Medicaid preferred.Board Certification Requirement:A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/ Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry (PMHNP/NPP) will have a board certification form one of the following.ANCCAmerican Academy of NPAACNNational Cert of NursingNPCCBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision coverage.403(b) retirement plan with employer match up to 5%.Generous paid vacation, holiday, sick and personal time package (3 weeks' vacation in first year, 13 paid holidays per year, 12 sick days per year and 4 personal days per year).Access to Family Services' Compassionate Leave Program where employees can donate/receive unused time off.Group term life and long-term disability insurance.Supplemental life insurance & accidental death and dismemberment coverage (AD&D).Supplemental insurance through Aflac.Employee assistance program (EAP).Pet insurance.Family Services Behavioral Health Centers are eligible for the Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP) through the federal Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA).
