Job Description:
Description: IV. Responsibilities: Identify and provide case
management services to the families enrolled in Invisible
Children's Project and to individuals enrolled in the Supported
Housing Program. Directly supervise the Senior Housing Case Manager
and ICP/Supported Housing Program Case Managers. Responsible for
program management and development of the following programs:o Case
Managemento HUD Continuum of Care programs (replacing shelter +
care)o Respiteo Parent Groupo Children's Art Groupo Flexible
Service Funds Responsible for completing required data collection,
statistical reports, billing and monthly program reports.
Responsible for caseload coverage as needed. Coordinate and/or
provide 24-hour on-call crisis intervention information and
referral services to families. Establish and maintain linkages with
community agencies and service providers. Facilitate development of
peer support networks program advisory counsel and parenting
education classes. Coordinate client referral, admission and
discharge process. Maintain client files according to policies and
procedures for program, OMH and HUD regulations. Assist in
developing and monitoring program policies and procedures. Explore
and develop new concepts and program designs. Report any
identifiable instances of child abuse and/or neglect to supervisor
and authorities. Act as liaison between MHA, community landlords,
providers and clients. Represent MHA at meetings such as SPOA and
Coordinated Entry bi-weekly meetings. Develop, coordinate and
provide required training for staff.VI. Other Duties: Participate
in MHA's committees. Duties outlined above are intended to describe

duties at any time.VII. Terms of employment/benefits: Exempt. Forty
(40) hours per week. Locations: Mental Health Association in Orange
County, Inc. in Newburgh (10 Little Britain Road, Newburgh, NY and
Middletown (73 James P. Kelly Way, Middletown, NY). Paid holidays,
sick leave and paid time off according to MHA
policies.Requirements: IV. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in
related field and 2 years' experience in human services field.Or
Associate's Degree in related Field and 4 years' experience in
human services field. Two years of supervisory experience required.
Effective written and oral communication skills. Must be organized,
self-motivated and have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
simultaneously. Ability to exercise sound judgment under crisis
situations and to abide by regulations regarding confidentiality.
Valid NYS Driver's License and ability to drive with current
driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage. Must be
clear and maintain an acceptable record under the Office of Mental
Health (OMH) mandated criminal background check
