1. Complete applications, questionnaires, request loss runs and issue binders, identification cards, certificates of insurance and requests for proof of property insurance 2. Answer telephone in a professional manner while taking client inquiries and research and answer questions based on their insurance needs 3. Respond to client voice mails on the same day per Emery & Webbs Sundown Rule which states all calls need to be returned on the same day and system noted accordingly 4. Emails should be acknowledged within a reasonable time frame if not the same day 5. Represent yourself and the agency in a professional manner while waiting on clients in person and taking their inquiries 6. Be familiar with the markets available through the agencys carriers 7. Become familiar with all policies forms and coverages as well as any recent changes to these forms and coverages and have to knowledge to explain these to a client in a way they understand 8. Communicate with supervisor on any issues to ensure excellent customer service 9. Prior to policies renewing, review exposures, gather information the carrier has requested and deliver renewal policies or binders on a timely basis. Also review renewals to determine if better coverage and/or pricing can be obtained with another carrier 10. Process transactions carefully paying attention to detail on a timely basis to minimize the potential for an errors and omissions exposure 11. Backup and assist other team members as needed to achieve the common goal of servicing all clients in our usual professional manner Requirements
Minimum Experience and Education High school diploma or equivalent. Licensed insurance broker by Jobble
