Overview:
We are currently looking for a Facility Supervisor to join our maintenance team at our Danbury, CT FuelCell facility. This position will play a key role in our daily operational readiness as well as our continued operational efficiency and capacity evolution. The Facility Supervisor will report directly to the Plant Engineering Manager and will have direct reports.

Summary: The Facility Supervisor is responsible for managing routine and non-routine building maintenance and construction activities in support of our building infrastructure and Test Lab operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of all building supporting equipment, exterior grounds/site and building assets.
- Follows industry standard best-practices, specifications, and regulatory codes.
- Documents all predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on all facilities equipment, supporting equipment and building assets.
- Performs regular inspections of plant and process safety systems in keeping with EHS guidelines.
- Maintains current records for all facilities equipment requiring monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections.
- Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Trade School or A.S. in Electro-Mechanical Technology program.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience managing a facility comprised of office space and Test Labs.



Candidate must be knowledgeable with experience in:
- Electrical and Mechanical building systems.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to determine problems with building equipment and processes.
- Experience with managing vendors and contractors, submitting purchase requisitions, and obtaining quotes and proposals for maintenance and construction projects.
- Reading and interpreting layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Must exhibit the ability to communicate with the staff and co-workers in a professional manner.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Be willing to work over normal schedule as necessary in support of the business.
- Must participate in 24/7 emergency repair and on-call support.
- Physically perform work including lifting and carry a minimum of 25 lbs. routinely and up to 100 lbs. on a non-routine basis with assisted lifting devices.
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Work and physically move throughout a 70,000 sq. foot plant and on the outside grounds to perform various tasks in normal seasonal Connecticut temperatures and conditions.
- Possess the ability to work at elevated heights in appropriate equipment and operate a forklift and man-lift.
- Be able and willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hats, respirator, and other PPE as required
- Must be able to effectively read, write and speak in English to ensure team communication and be able to follow written procedures.
- Must be willing to work as part of an integrated team and cross functionally with other departments.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid driver's license and be willing to travel locally for company business.%596444% %%install%%
