Control department is looking for a Summer Intern to collect
aggregate samples and assist with completing aggregate testing,
sieve analysis and reporting. Some hot mix asphalt sampling and
testing will also be required. The Quality Control Technician is a
team member who guarantees continuous production and ensures our
hot mix asphalt, liquid asphalt, cold mix asphalt, crushed stone,
sand, and gravel are consistent with State, Federal and local
specifications. The QC Tech is a well-rounded hard worker,
mechanically inclined, experienced and comfortable working in
manual labor industries using related tools, equipment, and
machinery. This position require travel between the serviced
region, including our Catskill, Athens, and Pleasant Valley.
Reliable transportation is required. Essential Functions: Reliably
collect all required samples and tests as directed by QC Manager;
Achieve familiarity with the operation of all testing equipment;
Maintain timely consistent communication with co-workers; Maintain
clear, concise, organized, and accurate records of all quality
control testing at all production facilities. Maintain a clean,
safe working environment at all production facilities and assure
that all lab testing equipment is in good working order at all
timesRequirements, Education and Experience:High School Diploma or
equivalent Proficient verbal and written English Legal right to
work in the USHands-on in manual labor environmentComputer literate
and comfortable using Word, Excel and emailHave and maintain

up to 50lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs of force
frequently, and/or up to 10lbs of force constantly to move objects.
This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud
equipment. Requiresthe ability to sit or stand for long periods of
time as well as lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing,
