Purpose
Accountable to provide on-going support & development as a subject matter expert on Active Directory, and related Authentication methods supporting 60k AD users with 20k in the Americas. Required to participate in the Global Projects as a key project member, mainly in Active Directory to further consolidate the AD domains across Linde plc including NuCo2, S-LATAM and N-LATAM and continuously improve the security setup in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Authentication area.

Key Accountabilities

  • Technical expert on Active Directory, Azure AD, PKI, Federation Services (Authentication)
  • Core technical expert to manage, run and develop Global Directory Services in a secure manner
  • To provide on-going support, accountable for global operations & 24*7 support
  • Required to participate in the Global Projects as a key project member, mainly in Directory Services area e.g. Americas Workplace Program (AWP), PKI, AD integrated DNS, Authentication, Azure AD, etc.
  • Operational responsibility of IAM platform operations e.g. supporting employee registration process, Joiner/Leaver process, SOX compliance in IAM area
  • Simultaneously required to handle implementation of new technologies within Global IT service area.

      Qualifications:

      Qualifications/Skills
      • Associates' degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
      • Formal training and/ or Certification in AD/Azure AD/ PKI / IAM & relevant Microsoft Technologies will be preferred.
      • Should have overall 6 - 10 years of relevant IT experience working with reputed companies
      • Good Technical Knowledge in Active Directory, Azure AD, IAM, PKI, Federation Services and Windows Server Infrastructure.
      • Experience in virtual working in a globally distributed team and for global business across multiple time zones
      • A superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Authentication areas (Active Directory, Azure AD, PKI and Federation Services) with experience in managing medium to large environments.
      • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Active Directory & Azure AD, PKI and Federation Services, conducting hands-on evaluation and testing of Authentication related technologies, and dealing with vendors/partners to resolve technical issues.
      • Working knowledge of Active Directory and its integration with Microsoft PKI, Azure AD & ADFS
      • Experience with certificate-enabled applications, such as SSL/TLS, S/MIME, authentication, EFS, 802.1X, Code Signing, etc.
      • Experience in managing, troubleshooting Windows domain services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO) and Networking and Windows Servers.
      • Monitoring, Management and Maintenance of the Active Directory, Azure AD, PKI and Federation Services using SCOM /System Center modules.
      • Some experience with Microsoft Cloud and Azure
      • Some experience with a renowned IAM tool and good conceptual awareness of processes around access management especially joiner and leaver
      • Developing documentation for AD infrastructure and SOPs, known errors, solutions, major incident reports that will help in continuous improvement.
      • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills both written and spoken
      • Self-motivated, Team Player, can take technical lead role in a critical project with the ability to learn and work in a meticulous and organized manner
      • Good communication skills required to effectively coordinate with other IT functions and with peers across multiple locations working in different time zones
      • Confirmed analytical skills, together with the ability to think "outside the box".
      • Mobility - Willing to travel on demands of the job, based on discussion and pre-agreement
      • Flexibility - Willing to work flexible hours based on job or project requirement from time-to-time
      • Willingness to be available for On-Call 24x7 support
      • Providing global services as a part of the team requiring supporting services spanning across geographies and time zones.
