IT User Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT User Support Specialist to join
our growing, mission-driven team based in Rhinebeck, NY. As the IT
User Support Specialist, you will assist SunCommon employees with
initial set up of our systems and assigned hardware, as well as
troubleshoot any technical challenges that arise.
*You will work mostly remotely, but must be able to visit the
Rhinebeck office on occasion to support hardware needs.

What you'll do as the IT User Support Specialist:
Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance and
support of incoming queries and issues related to computer systems,
software, and hardware
Support end user systems, network infrastructure, and user
Track all requests via ticket management system and follow up with
users to ensure the issue is resolved
Provision user hardware, accessories, user accounts, and maintain
and audit security permissions
Track user hardware inventory and proactively monitor for
replacement and upgrade, including maintaining spare inventory
Help source new equipment and suggest standard hardware options
Write and maintain user support documentation for hardware and
Basic administration of business applications
Work with users to determine requirements for more complex
customizations, test delivered solutions, and write functional user
What's required of you:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information
Systems, or equivalent experience
MacOS and iOS experience, including device hardware repair, is
Must have experience managing cloud platforms
Google Workspace and Salesforce experience is highly desired
Previous experience in end user support is highly desired
Windows experience (Windows 10, server, Office suite etc.)
Ability to adapt to change and quickly learn new systems and
Ability to translate user requests into functional requirements and
convey technical information to non-technical users

Pay: $20 - $25 per hour, based on experience
