Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze learning and development needs as they relate to Ethan Allen's retail, service and corporate personnel through networking and partnering with retail management, operations and manufacturing personnel and departments within the corporate office.Work closely with the department's senior management to optimize the information exchange and to keep documentation current and relevant.Develop learning and development plans, content, and materials for a variety of delivery formats including webinar, written, and the department's interactive learning management system.Deliver learning and development programs utilizing a variety of visual and technical aids to enhance delivery and reinforce lesson content.Identify opportunities to improve and streamline learning and development processes.Assist in the communication and development of associate recognition programs and company conferences and conventions.Participate in departmental strategic planning sessions to enhance and deliver concise learning content within a tight timeframe.Participate in and facilitate activities at Corporate and Retail Network events as needed.Travel in the field up to 10 percent as directed. Knowledge, skills, and abilities:Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or Business Administration with a minimum of three (3) years' experience OR Associate Degree or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years in corporate communications or learning and development.A minimum of two (2) years successful Ethan Allen (or a similar retailer) design consultant experience a plus.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Self-starter with demonstrated ability to conceive with ingenuity, execute on time and provide consistent administrative support for programs post launch.Excellent presentation/platform, facilitation, desktop publishing, and written communication skills.Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.Passion for customer service and working as part of a team.Detail-oriented, organized, and strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects within tight timeframes.Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.Experience with remote, distance learning and learning management systems as well as experience with Ethan Allen systems a plus.Strong organizational skills required.Ability to travel occasionally required (10% or less).Work under general supervision with moderate to high level of independent judgment.Ethan Allen is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
