The on account Occupancy Planner will report directly to the Senior Occupancy Planner and will be responsible for the day to day management of occupancy data, migration planning as well as space planning / design for Client BAU requests. This position requires that only personnel that are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 be permitted onsite. Because your role is onsite as a condition of employment you are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and be able to provide proof of such vaccination prior to entering the work site. The CDC defines fully vaccinated as receiving two (2) doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one (1) dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 2 weeks have passed from the date of your final vaccination shot. Failure to provide proof of vaccination may result in asking for your removal from the account. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: Supply & Demand Planning: * Provides a single point of contact for geography-related planning questions * Provides geographic stacking diagrams by location, by building and by floor * Reports the current supply and capacity, and forecasts inventory changes for a rolling three-year timeframe * Maintains and secures business units' agreement to geographic stacking plans * Partners with Senior OP to gather preliminary program requirements for each department (by building, if necessary) * Develops migration plans and sequencing of group-level moves / relocations * Forecast order of magnitude scopes, schedules and budgets for project moves planned to occur based on stacking plans / strategy * Ensures planning is aligned with corporate guidelines, and that all scenarios maximize use of space * Recommends and enforces space policies/standards, procedures and protocols * Develops, maintains and reports space allocation plans, and if applicable, issues space allocation reports. * Participates in Audits (including seat assignments, occupancy, vacancy, labs & equipment). Present Audit Data to Senior OP & Leadership. * Measure, Monitor and report cost saving and value added contributions * Assist in developing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership Reporting & Facilitation of Projects: * Partner with on-account OP Team to compile Quarterly Report Data * Field Verify Occupancy Planning Data * Attends kick-off meetings for new real estate acquisitions, major renovation projects and project moves; and * Facilitates communication between other occupancy planners, planning assistants, CAD administrators, and other Jones Lang LaSalle team members. * Assists in Issuing the Quarterly Report: The quarterly report includes headcount projections, supply and capacity information and the status of major initiatives (a real estate action plan) for the portfolio; monthly space allocation data, group block plans. * Facilitates and/or resolves issues identified in the weekly planning meeting Team Engagement: * Engage with group-level leaders to collect seat count forecasts, and resolve seat count forecast discrepancies * Review and resolve geography-specific forecasts, needs, concerns, and issues * Engage with planning assistants and CAD administrators to ensure accuracy of planning database information, review and resolve campus/building-specific forecasts, needs, concerns, and issues * Engage with Project Management / Facility Management to review stacking strategies, and to provide workload forecast related to project moves that are planned to occur based on stacking plans / strategy. Space Planning & Business as Usual (BAU) Test Fits: * Support the RPM team in providing CAD test fits for BAU reconfiguration / densification requests * Partner with the RPM team to understand what furniture exists in the warehouse to support BAU requests Education: BS or BA in Interior Design, Architecture of other related field Years of Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience with space /occupancy planning & data analysis Skills/Knowledge: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (critical), CAFM Software (preferred) Other Abilities: Strong communication skills, understanding of design & planning, ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast paced environment #LI-MS What you can expect from us We succeed together and believe the best inspire the best, so we invest in supporting each other, learning together and celebrating our success.
