This role will primarily be responsible for processing tenant invoices, resolving exceptions in the invoicing system and fielding vendor/internal inquiries directly and frequently. The role will also lead the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Expense Reimbursement (T&E) policies and procedures as well as participation in our financial reporting. The position will report to the owner, Accounts Payable and receive exposure to all departments within the organization.Client DetailsOur client is a full-service real estate development company with experience and expertise in site selection, planning, financing, construction, sale, marketing and management with close to 100 years of experience in the space.Description

  • Take complete ownership of the Accounts Payable processes
  • Liaise with Executives, Project Managers, Controllers and other construction professionals to ensure work is completed accurately and within timelines
  • Reconciliation of AP invoices
    • Managing vendor communication and payments
    • Processing multiple bank reconciliations
    • Processing utilities
    • Assist in the processing of balance sheets and income statements working closely with CFO
    • Additional ad hoc responsibilitiesProfile
      • 1 plus year experience in accounting within construction preferred
      • Experience working with Realpage property management software
      • Bachelor of Science in Accounting preferred but not required
      • Experience using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite particularly excel
        • Strong communication skills
