The core purpose will be to develop, optimize, and drive product through to manufacturing process a chemical solution for Selective etch and Post Etch Residue Removal applications.This role is located in Danbury, CT.In this role you will:

  • Ensure the on time delivery of solutions to selective etch and wet clean projects
  • Meet internal and external customer deliverables for projects
  • Develop and optimize efficient workflows and/or metrics to meet project requirements
  • Understanding of mechanism of developed products
  • Material characterization using analytical instrumentsTraits we believe make a strong candidate:
    • A Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred; Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or similar field will also be considered
    • Knowledge and industry experience in organic and/or inorganic chemistry formulation development for cleans or selective etches
    • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a chemical R&D or manufacturing environment
    • Solution Chemistry experience working on solvent selection, corrosion prevention, complexation, oxidation/reduction reactions, acid-base interactions, etc.
    • Experience with FTIR, XPS, Raman, or other characterization techniques a plus
    • Experience with applicable quality tools such as design of experiments, FMEA's, cause and effect diagrams, and SPC is preferred
    • Expertise in chemical analysis related to blended cleans and advanced deposition materials
    • Strong communication skills and familiarity with developing communication plans
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Strong computer skills
    • Ability to be successful working in a global, cross-functional team environment
    • Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of chemicals and ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace
    • Ability to travel 15% of time (domestic & international)Your success will be measured by:
