Coordinate all Laboratory billing activity. Understands billing
procedures from both a process and performance standpoint. Assesses
customer needs and facilitates the implementation of the
transmission of client bills while providing excellent customer
Coordination of weekly and bi-monthly calls and ensures that the
appropriate parties attend.
Provide Management and support for all billing related
operational processes including: File definition type issues and/or
lab related edits that arise. Escalation procedures for missing
information with unresponsive or problematic clients that are
leading to lost revenue. Payer issues that may arise where we need
to work with the health system contracting team. Missing
requisitions from scanning and working with situations where
necessary information is not obtained that impact collections.
Client billing setup and management. Follow up with clients getting
behind on their bills and/or having issues/questions with the
statement that will need to be coordinated with billing and
Understanding and managing access to billing services systems
including: Managing Users on the Lab side for access. Act as a
resource to answer questions within the lab.
Ensures all policy and procedures are revised as needed as they
relate to systems work flows to include but not limited to
Participates in Laboratory compliance and quality plans on a
regular basis to insure regulatory obligations are met.
Provides support and training for all registration
Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the

Requires a minimum formal education of High School Diploma and
minimum of three years job-related experience. Customer service and
