Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and
outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital,
Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern
Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers
Medical Center in New York - plus multiple primary and specialty
care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a
leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices.
Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the
Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and
the Home Care organizations.
Provides professional care and assumes responsibility and
accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
Provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process in
collaboration with other health care team members.
Required: State of CT RN license
Hours: 36 control hours
Shift: 7pm to 7:30am with weekends as required
Performs assessments in an ongoing and systematic manner,
focusing on physiologic, psychological & cognitive status.
Formulates a goal directed plan of care which is prioritized and
based on determined nursing diagnosis & patient outcomes.
Implements care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and
