Job Description:
Interstate Waste Services is currently seeking a dedicated Roll
Off Truck Driver to join our team in the U.S. Northeast region.
This position is pivotal for ensuring the effective and efficient
collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials. The
driver will operate a roll-off truck configured for the
transportation of roll-off containers used to transport
non-hazardous solid waste from customer locations to designated
waste facilities. This role requires compliance with safety
regulations and is ideal for a highly dependable individual
dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability and community
cleanliness. Operate roll-off garbage trucks to manage container
delivery and pick-up from client sites. Ensure that material
collection and transport are performed in compliance with state
regulations and company standards. Conduct daily vehicle
inspections to maintain safety and operational efficiency. Work
closely with dispatchers to optimize daily routes and schedules.
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle condition at all times. Report
any vehicle operational discrepancies to management. Interact
professionally with clients and the public on-site, providing
excellent customer service and communicating effectively to solve
issues. Proven ability to operate roll-off trucks and other heavy
machinery safely. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and
safety standards. Excellent navigational and driving skills. Good
physical condition and stamina to handle demanding driving tasks
and perform minor repairs. Effective communication skills for
customer interactions and report generation. Medical Insurance

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Roll
Off Truck Operation Certification (preferable but not
essential).
