Job Description:
Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste
management in the Northeast, is looking for a dedicated Roll Off
Truck Driver to join our team. This role is essential for
facilitating the collection, transport, and disposal of waste in
compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The
successful candidate will handle equipment operation, customer
service, and ensure safety procedures are meticulously followed.
Operate roll off vehicles to transport waste to designated
facilities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure
the functional safety of the vehicle and compliance with all
regulations. Coordinate with the dispatch team to confirm
pick-up/delivery schedules and address any on-route issues. Provide
excellent customer service, including interaction with customers
regarding their service expectations and feedback. Maintain logs
and records according to state and federal regulations. Adhere to
company policies and legal guidelines of truck operation and waste
transportation. Assist in loading and unloading waste to ensure
that materials are transported safely to prevent accidents. Ability
to operate roll off vehicles safely and efficiently. Strong
understanding of the waste management industry's safety standards.
Excellent navigational and driving skills. Good physical condition
and endurance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
