Transactional Paralegal – Commercial Title & Survey Location: New York, NY (On-site) Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (Junior Level) | Up to $120,000 (Senior Level, based on experience) What You'll Do: Review title and survey documents for commercial real estate transactions. Work closely with title companies to clear title issues before closing. Prepare ancillary closing documents, checklists, and binders . Form corporations and LLCs ; draft operating agreements under attorney supervision. Obtain EINs and prepare SS-4 forms . Review UCC, litigation, bankruptcy, and lien searches . Prepare purchase agreements, contract assignments, and amendments . Organize closing files and ensure all documents are properly executed. Draft and file Deeds, ACRIS forms, UCC-1s, and UCC-3s . Prepare loan documents, escrow agreements, settlement statements, and satisfactions . Assist attorneys with offering plans for condos and co-ops , including amendments and yearly filings. Attend closings (in-person or escrow closings). What You'll Bring: 3 years of experience as a Transactional Paralegal in real estate. Strong knowledge of commercial title and survey review . Experience with ACRIS, UCC filings, and escrow documentation . Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files efficiently. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat . Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and clients.
