Competitive Base Salary Up to $200K (DOE) Performance Bonuses Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matching 401(k), PTO Hybrid Remote Flexibility - 3 days onsite Supportive, collaborative team with deep insurance coverage experience 1920 Billables Job Details We are currently hiring for two roles-Insurance Defense and Insurance Coverage: Insurance Defense Responsibilities: Defending insureds and insurers in professional, D&O, environmental, construction defect, and general liability claims Working on a wide range of litigation matters, from inception to resolution Drafting pleadings, handling discovery, taking depositions, and preparing for trial Participating in early settlement strategy and cost-effective resolutions Insurance Coverage Responsibilities: Represent insurers in high-exposure first- and third-party coverage disputes Handle declaratory judgment actions and defend against bad faith and unfair claims practices litigation Advise insurer clients on policy interpretation, risk transfer, indemnification, and subrogation strategy Manage claims involving a broad range of policies including CGL, E&O, D&O, excess, and umbrella Collaborate closely with insurance carriers and claims professionals to develop and execute litigation strategies Work on matters involving professional liability, environmental claims, construction defects, and auto liability Stay abreast of developments in insurance law, including duties owed by primary to excess carriers Looking For: Good tenure at previous firms J.D. and licensed to practice in New Jersey 2-10 years of experience with either insurance defense or insurance coverage litigation Interested in hearing more?
