Job Description:
Briljent is seeking an experienced and collaborative Business
Analyst to support large-scale initiatives by translating policy,
data, and stakeholder needs into clear insights and actionable
outcomes. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in
critical thinking, documentation, and communication, and who enjoys
partnering with stakeholders to drive measurable business results.
This position works closely with client teams to support
data-driven decision-making while ensuring alignment with New York
State (NYS) processes and procedures. Location: Albany, NY On-Site
1 week per month plus as needed Responsibilities Develop and
maintain business and data requirements documentation in alignment
with NYS processes and procedures Read, analyze, and summarize
policy , translating it into insights, action items, and next steps
Draft key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable business
outcomes Create high-quality, well-organized, and grammatically
correct presentation materials Support meetings with client
stakeholders to gather feedback , clarify requirements, and
validate deliverables Apply strong organizational and critical
thinking skills to support large-scale projects, programs, or
organizational initiatives Requirements Five (5) years of
experience supporting large-scale projects, programs, or
organizational initiatives Strong organizational, analytical, and
critical thinking skills Proven ability to digest policy and
convert it into actionable insights Two (2) years of experience
working with data systems Associate or Bachelor’s degree Ability to
work in a hybrid environment , with onsite presence approximately
one week per month Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of
experience working with healthcare systems Certifications and/or
experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six
Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, or Kanban Experience or certification in
Project Management, Business Analysis, ITIL , or related
disciplines Master’s degree Physical Requirements & Environmental
