Job Description:

DescriptionThe Information Technology Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day support of end users and is to provide assistance to the IT Manager & CIO as needed. The ITS will assist with the daily operation and implementations of directives pertinent to the smooth, secure, reliable, and continuous operation of the computer network, telephone, and email infrastructure, on campus and throughout the Hudson Valley supporting the various Adult locations.Responsibilities:+ Provide services and support identified by the IT Manager and CIO and will ensure optimal support to the educational, residential, and administrative team members and the individuals supported by ACA.+ Interface, coordinate, and assist independent consultants and service technicians to ensure the most cost effective and optimal results are realized.+ Completes and maintains all necessary paperwork and documentation on network, configurations, inventory of computer systems, components, and peripherals serviced and supported.+ Process, evaluation, and respond to support tickets in time frame established by management.+ Continues professional development through information sharing with independent consultants, attendance of Microsoft sponsored training and/or other training workshops as needed to maintain a competent level of understanding of new and existing software and hardware.Requirements:+ Associates Degree in Computer Science field.+ Strong customer support, verbal and written skills required.+ Experience with Windows OS, Office 365, printer support and basic networking skills required.+ 3 or more years technical experience with SQL DataBase, PHP software or Crystal reporting is a plus.Benefits:+ Up to 6 weeks of paid time off your 1st year (vacation, sick, holiday, etc.)+ College partnerships that provide discounts+ Scholarships available!+ 403B with company match+ Agency Sponsored activities (volleyball, bowling, etc.)+ Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA+ And much more, see link belowThis position description in no way states or implies that the responsibilities listed are the only duties to be performed by the person filling this position.
