all! The Lenovo Software team is looking for a talented Technical
Product Managerto work closely with Agile/Scrum development teams
in support a growing globaleducation Software as a Service product
line (www.lanschool.com). Thisposition is ideal for a
self-motivated individual with software development orengineering
experience in addition to product manager experience.
ExperienceSuccessful candidates will have a strong technical
background but also adesire to provide clear directions,
descriptions, and functional requirementsfor product features to
facilitate easy comprehension by the development team.You will own
the day-to-day details of the product backlog includingprioritizing
user stories, tasks, and defects. You will work closely with
across-functional team (including Marketing, Sales, Customer
Success, andSupport) to coordinate product release efforts and
announcements. Job Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
--- Work closely with product managers, development teams, and
senior leadershipto create and maintain a product backlog according
to business values,objectives, and feature ROI.
--- Plan and prioritize backlogs, assist with product vision,
roadmap and growthopportunities, OEM partnerships, and driving
--- Work closely with Scrum Masters to coordinate and lead product
teams throughongoing Agile/Scrum activities and Sprint
--- Actively participate as an integral team member and influencer
--- Document product requirements, user stories, defects and other
artifacts asneeded in support of Agile product delivery by
providing detailed acceptancecriteria, descriptions, and
definitions and answering questions whenadditional clarification is
--- Ensure that the product team has adequate tasks groomed and
ready to pullinto development.
--- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and
themes toensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are
aligned with theproduct strategy and quality.
--- Take the lead on product release planning, coordination, and
trainingincluding documentation updates and coordinating education
and training forMarketing, Sales, Operations, and Support.
--- Assist senior leadership team as needed with market research,
industrytrends, competitive analysis, user research and the
maintenance of bothtactical and strategic roadmaps.
--- Stay educated and informed about the latest developments and
trends inAgile/Scrum/SaaS best practices.
--- Conduct bug scrum meetings to evaluate, estimate, and assign
defects todevelopment teams.
--- Verify completion of new features and their readiness to
--- Coordinate beta test efforts and the resulting test
--- Use various customer feedback channels to continually drive
customer drivenenhancements into products.
--- Work closely with technical sales, support, and engineers to
assist inmanaging and resolving customer escalations as needed.
--- Work with UX and CX to conduct surveys, in-person interviews,
focus groupsto identify highly desired product features or
enhancements. Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
--- 3+ years technical or software engineering experience
--- 3+ years product manager experience
--- Proficient in Agile/Scrum software development methodology
includingmanaging product backlogs (Epics, Stories, Tasks, and
Defects) in a fast-paceddevelopment environment
--- Written and spoken communication skills including ability to
effectivelypresent to all levels of an organization, partners, and
--- Demonstrated ability to coordinate software projects across
--- Previous experience with Cloud/SaaS software products Preferred
--- A background or history working in education or passion for
providingtechnology solutions for educators
--- Bachelor degree in related field (Computer Science, Software
Architecture orEngineering, Business Management)
--- Jira and Confluence experience
--- Saas product delivery end-to-end experience
--- Training and certification as a Professional Scrum Product
Manager (PSPO) oras a Certified Scrum Product Manager (CSPO)
--- Adept at working with end users, UX, engineering scrum teams to
