Job Description:

A senior software developer is responsible for creating and maintaining web applications (UI and back-end code), SSIS packages, and other applications as needed. This position is also responsible for mentoring other developers - helping them to understand best practices and guiding implementation. What You Would Do Here: --- Understanding business requirements and specifications --- Implementing code to solve business requirements while adhering to the specifications and development coding standards --- Guiding implementation and influencing architecture --- Evangelizing best practices and techniques --- Mentoring other developers --- Creating and maintaining Microsoft SSIS packages --- Working closely with members of the IT and data teams as well as other departments to gather requirements for tasks and projects Requirements --- Able to understand and apply software development principles --- Experience with SQL Server with the ability to write/understand database queries --- Analytical thinking in solving problems --- Excellent communication skills --- Able to work well within a team and familiarity with AGILE --- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field --- 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET/C# --- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SSIS, and Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), Microsoft Azure DevOps
