Job Description:

The Millbrook Inn is an upscale boutique 9 bedroom, 30 seat restaurant, serving farm-to-table breakfast, dinner, and weekend brunch. Looking for a baker who can work mornings and some weekend hours, who can work well with the executive chef and off-site owner to produce high-quality and varied biscuits, scones and morning fare; help implement a seasonal dessert menu, and create interesting pancake batters and flavors for weekends.We make all our own jams, chutneys, fillings, etc and the baker, during their morning shifts, will also do some prep work for evening service.Our candidate must have a pastrybaking degree, OR have 2-3 years experience with a professional bakery, or restaurant kitchen pastry chef. They must have good knife skills; be passionate about food and hospitality; and want to work in a small team where we all wear a few hats and support each other. Hourly pay has a RANGE and is commensurate with experience and the amount of hours they can work.
