Job Description Join a leading medical facility in Elizabeth as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, focusing on inpatient behavioral health for children and adolescents. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities. About the Opportunity: - Hybrid or Remote: On-site - Shift: Day - Schedule: Monday-Friday - Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Setting: Inpatient Responsibilities: The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for: - Conducting psychiatric evaluations and admissions - Providing daily inpatient rounding and medication management - Developing and updating treatment plans - Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team - Completing required documentation in Epic Qualifications: - MD or DO - Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry - BE/BC in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry preferred - Active New Jersey license or eligibility - Experience with inpatient pediatric/adolescent populations preferred - Strong communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment - Problem-solving skills Desired Skills: - Experience in a similar role preferred - MD or DO - Applicable psychiatry certifications - Proficiency in Epic EMR - Empathy and compassion in patient care
