Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Brattleboro, VT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Psych RN in Brattleboro, Vermont, 05302! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Registered Nurse is required. Recent experience in adult forensic or intensive psychiatric care within the last 3 months is also required. License: Must have an active state license or compact license. Certifications: BLS certification from the American Health Association is required. Must-Have: - Recent adult forensic experience within the last 3 months. - Experience in inpatient psychiatric care must be within the last 3 months. - Intensive forensics psych/behavioral health experience, with age groups listed on the resume. - Willingness to float to other units and take charge shifts. - Two supervisory references from the last two years of employment. - Psych skills checklist from within the last year. - Driver's license or candidate's address must be included in the submission packet. - CPI certification is offered onsite; confirmation required at submission. Description: This is an Adult Forensics/Intensive Unit role. Must be highly experienced and comfortable working with this patient population. The role requires working with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of mental health workers to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care. The treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. The treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and education needed for a strong and successful recovery. Scheduling requests must be presented.
