Job Description:
At Paramount Rehabilitation Centers, we are dedicated to
providing exceptional rehabilitation services and are seeking a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled healthcare team.
Our center focuses on delivering tailored outpatient orthopedic
physical therapies, including sports medicine, pre/post surgical
rehab, and aquatic therapy. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will
play a fundamental role in supporting patient care, ensuring
adherence to therapy plans, and maintaining patient health records.
Monitor patient health and record signs like blood pressure,
temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate Administer
medications and injections as prescribed by the healthcare provider
Assist with patient mobility and physical therapies, following
specific therapeutic plans Educate patients and families on health
care needs, conditions, options Ensure the cleanliness and
readiness of therapy spaces and equipment Coordinate with
therapists and doctors to update patient treatment plans Strong
clinical skills in a healthcare setting Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work effectively in a dynamic,
therapy-focused environment Proficient in using medical software
for maintaining patient records Knowledge of proper handling of
medication and health monitoring equipment Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Current LPN license to practice in the
state employed CPR certification Optional but beneficial:
Specialized certification in orthopedic care or rehabilitation
