Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system, is seeking a
highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse III to join our
dynamic team on the E4 Medicine unit. This role is pivotal in
providing top-tier healthcare and support, working closely within a
team dedicated to patient care, medical education, and biomedical
research. The chosen candidate will leverage advanced nursing
skills to manage complex patient situations in a fast-paced
environment, ensuring the highest level of care and compliance with
medical protocols. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients
in the E4 Medicine unit, assessing and monitoring patient
conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and
implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on
treatment protocols, medication, and lifestyle adjustments to
promote optimal health. Supervise and mentor junior staff,
promoting a culture of learning and professional growth within the
department. Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations and
standards, maintaining patient safety and confidentiality at all
times. Participate in ongoing education and professional
development to remain abreast of advancements in medical and
nursing fields. Strong clinical skills in a medical or surgical
setting Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
Excellent communication and team coordination abilities Ability to
handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively Leadership and
mentoring skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
