We are proud to have become a shining example of what's possible when the brightest professionals dedicate themselves to making a difference in the healthcare industry, and in people's lives. 60; 60; Work Shift : Full Time 60; 60; Job Summary : 60; T he We ll star Diagnostic Float Team 60;(W EST 60; T eam ) 60; supports a variety of imaging services across our facilities. 60; Region Four 60; includes 60; Columbia County Medical Center & MCG Health Medical Center. 60; As a 60; CT 60; Technologist for Region Four , you 60; will 60; apply your expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at each location you serve. 60; If you prefer a role that avoids routine, lets you use your full skill set, and provides straightforward pay, 60; this could be a strong fit . 60; 60; Pay : 60; In return for stepping in 60; where you’re needed most , Float Pool members earn a higher base rate 60; and may be eligible for a 60; float incentive. 60; 60; Schedule & Incentives : 60; Float Pool technologists have clarity and choice: 60; This full-time position offer s 60; a $20,000 sign-on bonus 60; Multiple shift options available to 60; se lf-schedule up to 8 weeks in advance 60; Monthly schedule includes 2 Monday shifts, 2 Friday shifts, and 3 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) 60; This position is eligible for 60; full-time benefits 60; 60; Required Qualifications : 60; Education 60; High School Diploma or equivalent 60; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program 60; Experience 60; Minimum 60;2 60; years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting 60; Minimum 60;2 60; years of 60; CT 60; experience in a hospital setting 60; Certifications 60; ARRT-R (Radiography) 60; ARRT- CT 60;( Computed Tomography ) 60; BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association 60; 60; Core 60; Responsibilities : 60; Perform CT exams per physician orders, department protocols, and safety standards. 60; Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and screen for contraindications (including contrast risk). 60; Explain procedures clearly using AIDET and communicate with patients/families with empathy and confidence. 60; Prepare and position patients; assist with mobility, safe transfers, and use immobilization/shielding as needed. 60; Establish IV access using sterile technique and maintain venipuncture competency. 60; Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions; escalate concerns promptly. 60; Operate CT scanners and power injectors safely; confirm proper anatomical markers and scan parameters. 60; Optimize technique to achieve diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation dose (ALARA). 60; Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings/clinical changes, and involve the radiologist/physician when indicated. 60; Complete documentation accurately and on time; manage RIS entries, PACS uploads, and CDs/logs when required. 60; Perform, document, and follow through on QC checks, calibration verification, and compliance/audit standards. 60; Maintain smooth daily operations by prioritizing workload, supporting cross-coverage/clerical needs, keeping rooms stocked and equipment cleaned/disinfected, participating in on-call, and adhering to regulatory/Joint Commission standards. 60; 60; Join us and discover the support to do more meaningful work—and enjoy a more rewarding life.
