Apply now to join our healthcare team in the heart of New York State!/n /n/nEstimated Weekly Salary/n /n - Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1990 - $2130 per week/n /n/nPCU RN Job Details/n /n - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment/n - Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)/n - Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/n - Start Date: December 7, 2025/n - End Date: March 8, 2026/n - Duration: 13-week contract/n - Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required/n - EMR: Epic EMR experience required/n - Weekend block schedule may be considered/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State/n - Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or adult ICU nursing experience/n - ACLS certification required/n - Proficiency in advanced hemodynamics, pressor titration, and medical/surgical patient care/n - Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR)/n - Ability to pass a nursing competency test within 48 hours of submission/n - Excellent communication and teamwork skills/n /n/nPCU Nurse Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, trauma, and surgical complications/n - Manage advanced therapies: antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and infection prevention protocols/n - Utilize HFNC, BiPap/CPAP, and oxypendent devices for respiratory support/n - Maintain a patient load of approximately 3 high-acuity patients/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes/n - Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards/n /n/n Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
