Job Opportunity – ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: December 15, 2025 Location: Albany, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Full-time Highlights: Float pool position supporting multiple critical care environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility Opportunity to care for ICU patients across diverse settings including ED and PACU during bed placement transitions Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred Dynamic role ideal for experienced critical care nurses seeking variety and professional challenge Requirements: Active New York State RN license (local candidates from certain counties may have restrictions) Epic EMR experience required Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred Demonstrated competency in caring for ICU patients across multiple critical care specialties Previous float pool or multi-unit ICU experience highly desired Ability to adapt quickly to varied critical care environments and patient populations Why It's a Great Opportunity: This float pool position offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced critical care nurses to expand their expertise across multiple ICU specialties within a Level I trauma center.
