Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, renowned for its integration of a premier

Clinical Nurse II for our General Surgery/Trauma unit. This role
demands a highly skilled individual who can provide exceptional
patient care in a fast-paced environment. As part of our
multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Nurse will engage in a range
of responsibilities from patient assessment and care planning to
administration of treatments and medications. Our commitment to

goals of patient care. Administer and monitor patient medications
and treatments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
to provide top-tier patient care. Assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate nursing care plans for each patient. Educate patients and
their families on treatment protocols. Maintain accurate patient
records and monitor changes in patient conditions. Participate in
research and continuous education opportunities. Proficient in
clinical skills with an ability to handle high-stress situations
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Strong
organizational and multi-tasking skills In-depth knowledge of
safety protocols and infection control standards Empathy and
compassion for patients and families Ability to work
collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team Medical Insurance

Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of New York Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification desired Certified in Trauma Nursing Core Course
