Job Description:
Join Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known

looking for a compassionate and experienced Clinical Nurse III to
join our Pediatric Emergency Department (PED) on the night shift.
This role requires a skilled nurse who can provide critical care
and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position
involves delivering high-quality nursing services to pediatric
patients, working collaboratively with medical staff, and adhering
to established policies. Provide high-quality nursing care to
pediatric patients in emergency situations. Administer medications
and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient
conditions continuously and respond to changes in status.
Communicate effectively with children and families, offering
emotional support and information. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all nursing
procedures. Participate in educational sessions and remain current
on pediatric emergency nursing practices. Strong ability to provide
care under pressure. Excellent pediatric assessment skills.
Proficiency in the use of medical technology and software. Strong
team collaboration and communication skills. Ability to educate and
empathize with families. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN
licensure in the state of practice. Pediatric Advanced Life Support
(PALS) certification. Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN)
preferred.
