Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II in Neurosciences and
Epilepsy Monitoring. This role involves specialized nursing care
for patients with neurological disorders and those undergoing
epilepsy monitoring. The ideal candidate will be actively engaged
in influencing patient outcomes and delivering compassionate care
in a state-of-the-art environment. Provide specialized nursing care
for patients in neurosciences, particularly those with epilepsy and
other neurological disorders. Monitor patients' neurological
status, manage seizures, and administer medications as needed.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, including
neurologists and other healthcare professionals, to develop and
implement care plans. Participate in research and trials pertaining
to neuroscience and epilepsy as part of our commitment to advancing
medical care. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and
neurological care management. Ensure documentation is complete,
accurate, and timely, contributing to high standards of patient
care. Strong clinical skills with a focus on neurology and seizure
management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability
to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Proficient
in using medical software for patient care documentation Medical
Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice
in the state. Certification in Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) or
similar is highly desirable.
