The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and APRNs within a busy community hospital environment affiliated with multiple medical schools. Description Full-Time Cardiac Specialist (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) Opening in Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City) Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time Cardiac Specialist (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistnat) to join our employed Danbury Cardiology Practice based in Danbury, Connecticut, (Fairfield County) located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes thirteen physicians, four full-time APRNs, and excellent support staff. This is a Monday through Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Previous experience as an APRN in Cardiology and/or Medicine preferred. Position includes both inpatient and outpatient work at the Danbury Hospital campus and outpatient office. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year, as well as a Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, offering 24-hour interventional cardiology.
