The largest multi-specialty healthcare group in lower Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam counties is looking for a savvy, detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to join their growing team in Poughkeepsie, NY!Description:The Medical Scheduler assesses a large volume of phone calls and requests both clinical and non-clinical in nature while providing superior customer service and maintaining a one call resolution standard.---Assesses a high volume of incoming calls and requests---Schedules appointments including but not limited to physicals, office visits, consults, Hospital follow ups and CDL exams for 100+ multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals. ---Utilizes all resources available to efficiently and effectively assist all callers.---Transfers/ warm-transfers calls to other departments and/or staff members when appropriate. ---Gathers all pertinent information for requests and relays messages to clinical staff members accordingly.---Handles emergencies according to specified procedures---Uses NextGen medical software and Microsoft Outlook on a daily basis.2+ years healthcare or call center experience required About Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
