Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a full-time 6th Endocrinologist to join our long established and growing employed practice in Danbury, Connecticut. We are located in suburban Fairfield County, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes five Endocrinologists, three APRNs, and excellent support staff. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation. Recent graduates and 2023 candidates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team with some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. The position is mainly outpatient with some inpatient consults at Danbury Hospital, located just minutes from the office, and telemedicine consults to New Milford Hospital. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations as we continue to grow the practice to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base. Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York. Danbury, Connecticut, in Fairfield County, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT.
