Join Barclays as a VP Trade and Working Capital Originator, where you'll have the opportunity to generate revenue and promote the bank's diverse Trade & Working Capital product and service offerings to various customer segments. In this role, you will contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. You will plan and manage resources, budgets, and policies, deliver continuous improvements, and escalate breaches of policies/procedures. Additionally, you will manage and mitigate risk while advising key stakeholders and leadership on functional and cross-functional areas regarding impact and alignment.To be successful as a VP Trade and Working Capital Originator, you should have:

• Extensive Trade Finance expertise
• Experience interacting with clients around transaction execution and problem resolution
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills with both internal and external clientsSome other highly valued skills may include:

This includes only base salary or base hourly rate and does not encompass other compensation or benefits.Purpose of the roleTo generate revenue and promote the bank's diverse Trade & Working Capital product and service offerings to various customer segments.Accountabilities
    • Identify potential customers, analyze their needs and preferences, and stay abreast of emerging market trends and competitor strategies.
    • Create detailed profiles for target customer segments to tailor sales approaches and product recommendations.
    • Manage relationships with potential and existing customers through high-quality support, resolving queries, gaining trust, and understanding their financial goals and challenges.
    • Understand the features, benefits, risks, and compliance requirements of various Trade & Working Capital products and communicate these insights clearly to address customer needs.
    • Develop compelling sales pitches and proposals, negotiate beneficial terms, and convert leads into customers.
    • Collect and analyze customer feedback to support report development, informing product development and sales strategies.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics like lead conversion rates and customer acquisition costs to identify areas for improvement.Vice President Expectations
