PURPOSEUnilever International (UI) ensures products comply with
local legislation worldwide and meet Unilever's high standards. The
UI Regulatory Affairs team manages compliance across the portfolio
and supports innovation projects globally, working with internal
teams and external regulatory experts.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and maintain processes supporting UI product compliance
for PC & BW in the Americas (USA, Canada & LATAM).
- Build and sustain a network of global contacts in R&D,
Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, SERS, etc., to ensure product
compliance.
- Collaborate with external regulatory partners and monitor their
performance.
- Evaluate and advise on Prop 65 requirements and contaminants
monitoring for UI projects.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance of existing UI products
affected by new regulations.
- Serve as the first contact for regulatory queries for UI
Europe, UK, and Middle East teams.
- Incorporate digital processes within Regulatory
Affairs.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Operational knowledge of cosmetics regulation in North
America.
- Understanding of R&D operations: formulations, raw
materials, etc.
- Ability to design processes and implement best practices.
- Strong business acumen, agility, and personal mastery.
- Independent problem-solving skills and ability to work with
cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior
leaders and operational teams.
- Flexibility and agility in work approach.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is highly
desirable.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, science, or
related fields.
- 4-6 years of experience with cosmetics regulations in a
specific region or category.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
English.
- Multilingual abilities and cross-cultural collaboration skills
are advantageous.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work independently
within a team.
- Knowledge of Unilever digital tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel (LEADERSHIP & BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS

range: $86,080 - $129,120, considering skills, experience, and
