Business Development Manager (BDM) for NY/NJ/CT MarketsEl Tequileno (Company / Employer) Tequila,"Mexico's Best Kept Secret" winner of Spirits Business Awards, Tequila Brand of the Year, seeks a Business Development Manager, to support the Eastern Sales team. The position will report to the Eastern Regional to sell to the on and off-premise accounts in NY, NJ and CT markets. The BDM will work at the direction of the Easter Regional to build and sustain positive and productive relationships with the wholesalers to prioritize El Tequeileno in new and existing accounts. This will be accomplished through the distributor relations and direct relationships, outreach, education, training and marketing initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and maintain a visible and active working presence in markets with key and target accounts.Build relationships with owners and buyers to become a trusted brand partnerDeliver insights and fact based selling stories based on brand distinctions, including family owned, third generation, additive free, accolades and award winning recognition to inspire accounts to make the choice of our brand.Support distributor management through support, motivation, education and insightful, targetid selling information that emphsize the value of the brand's family history and award winning recognition for quality and authenticity.Collaborate across all distributor channel teams.Data base mine and to identify new accounts and to drive targeted sales goals.Approach every account with with strong promotional support and plans that focus on their channels with our brand.High proficiency with platforms that track account sales and and marketing results.Proactively plan your days, weeks and monthly plans.REQUIREMENTSFrequent travel by car and public transportation.Ability to lift at least 45 pounds.Full time availability including evenings and weekends.Moderate to heavy physical work (moving cases and retail supplies, setting up for special events.Note: This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities or aspects of the role and may be amended at the sole discretion of the Employer.El Tequileno is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Thank you!Job category: Sales and Marketing
