Description: Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC)
seeks a full-time Chief Program Officer (CPO) for CIFC Health,
CIFC's Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The CPO serves as
the operational head of CIFC Health, one of three core divisions of
CIFC, and is responsible for the overall operational management,
administration, and proper functioning of all CIFC Health line
operations. (The other divisions of CIFC include education and
housing and each area has the equivalent of a CPO reporting to the
CEO.) CIFC Health is CIFC's largest division with approximately 200
employees. CIFC Health provides adult and pediatric medicine
services, family dentistry, adult and pediatric behavioral health
services, OB/GYN services, and various supportive services at 17
locations for over 15,000 patients annually. CIFC Health is also a
Teaching Health Center with two accredited teaching programs, one
in Internal Medicine and another in Psychiatry. The CPO serves as a
member of the CEO's Cabinet with other CIFC Executive leaders,
including the leaders of other divisions of CIFC, as well as the
leaders of key business functions like Finance, HR, Legal,
Compliance, Risk, and Facilities Management.Requirements:The
successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
plus a Master's Degree in a related field (such as Public
Administration, Nursing, or Public Health, etc.) with five (5) or
more years of progressively responsible significant
supervisory/administrative experience or the equivalent in health
care operations. Strong leadership and project management skills
required. Knowledge of and/or experience in community health
centers and preferred Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
Computer user skills required: familiarity with Electronic Medical
Record systems and Microsoft office (word, excel, Teams). Bilingual
