Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Hospital Services
Business Manager to join our team located in Danbury, CT. Business
Leadership:--- The Business Manager has full P/L responsibility
with direct over site of the departments sales, and operational
activities to drive long term profitable growth.
- Creates sales plans & KPIs for assigned geographic area to meet
P/L targets and budget.--- Provide direction and planning for
annual budget development, capital investment planning, and
performance and talent management.--- Ensures sales teams meets or
exceeds targets for business objectives by setting clear goals,
monitoring progress, and promoting effective behaviours by
providing coaching and guidance to team. --- Creates
sales/operational plans & KPIs for assigned geographic area to meet
business objectives.--- Utilization of project/growth management
tools to lead and manage growth activity for Services business.Team
Leadership:
- Lead, motivate and hold accountable a team of of 12 direct
reports, two territory managers, two hybrid (sales/service)
managers, two team leaders, three service techs, and two
planners/admin, and works closely with finance, engineering, and
technical support to deliver on objectives.--- Leads by example,
and makes safety culture a part of the team, and a focus within
every daily activity.
- Remove barriers that may cause roadblocks for team members to
achieve their goals.
- Active in the field to support, training, and guide
technicians, and to support project delivery. Project
Management:--- Responsible for the operation, quality assurance,
and quality control of a medical testing and analysis laboratory.
--- Responsible for project planning including budgeting, cost
management, and timeline execution to assure projects are delivered
on time and within planned budget.--- Serves as the point of
contact during project Pre-Construction/Service phase, including
coordination, communication with project team as to the project
work plan, interim coordination, project status and final project
delivery.--- Assure that potential risk factors have been evaluated
and reviewed with the Project team.--- Drafts and distributes
project meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, schedules,
tracking matrices, schedules, Safety Manuals, QC/QA documents and
executive summaries. --- Conducts extensive research to diagnose
the problems that the customer is facing and then develops
appropriate solutions. --- Monitor operations of contracts,
including payments--- Thorough knowledge of local, state and
national codes, standards, and policies.--- Bachelor's Degree in
construction management, project management, engineering or related
degree required or diploma in Technical Field (Mechanical,
Engineering, BioTech, or similar)--- A minimum of 5 years'
experience in medical gas service business, project and
construction management required.--- Working knowledge of AutoCAD,
BIM or VDC required --- Technical Knowledge of Industrial, Medical
Gases and Distribution Systems Preferred--- Experience with MS
Office applications--- ASSE 6000 professional credentials,
Certified Construction Manager, Project Management ---
Professional, OSHA 30 Hr, a plus. --- Daily travel required between
50% - 75%. Position will include frequent regional travel durations
and infrequent national travel.--- Overnight travel required
between 10% - 25%. Position will include infrequent overnight
travel --- durations and infrequent national travel.--- Other
Competencies: --- Excellent Leadership skills--- Effective written

Administration/Negotiation Skills--- Engineering, Field Service,
Construction and Management experience--- Excellent interpersonal
