For our Chemprene LLC and AMMEGA Production team, we are currently looking for a Process Technology Manager.
As the Process Technology Manager, you will be Responsible for operational and process engineering throughout all Chemprene product lines to support schedule attainment, safety, efficiency and quality standards. You will report to the General Manager and lead a team of 1-3 technicians. This role is located in Beacon, New York.
A day in the life of the Process Technology Manager can look like

  • Creating Action Plans to defeat Barriers
  • Building a productive, inclusive, professional and respectful work environment
  • Managing the technical processes and continuous improvement for all Chemprene product lines.
  • Collaborating with engineering, production management and procurement on process improvement initiatives.
  • Leads and coordinates the delegation of process improvement tasks to maintenance, technical and other support personnel.
  • Review, recommend and execute process improvements and optimizations to existing processes with engineering principles.
  • Analyze root cause of process problems.
  • Define actions to improve efficiency and quality
  • Create, edit and maintain SOP's
  • Maintain records and data of process development findings
  • Coordinate the development and execution of studies to identify, resolve and/or correct manufacturing problems or process improvements.
  • Collect and track necessary data on production performance.
    We are looking for you to have:
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (technical, engineering)
    • Experience in Management
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement approach
    • Knowledge of LEAN production principles
    • Knowledge of Quality systems
    • Previous Rubber Mixing and Processing experience preferred
    • Excellent ERP, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
    • Leadership acumen- Acts as a role model, guides, develops and mentors others
    • Positive team spirit
    • Entrepreneurial and customer focus- Maintains awareness of and seeking to meet the needs of our customers
    • Ability to deliver what is promised
    • Drive for change and innovation
    • Ability to build relationships through collaboration
